Anti-adhesive coatings

The principal anti-adhesive coating applied by Lithcote Europe is Teflon®. Lithcote Europe applies ten different Teflon® coatings supplied by Dupont de Nemours.

This coating is applied in several layers of a few microns followed by baking in the furnace (up to 400° Celsius).

This activity accounts for slightly over 50% of turnover.

Examples of applications:

• Small parts: sealed joints for the Ariane rocket
• Large parts: 50t tank (diam. 5.5 m, length 12m)
